The Clinic
We are so excited to be a part of a team that supports a Health Clinic in the undeveloped area of San Luis Rio Colorado. The Clinic includes a dental suite with basic services provided pro bono by volunteer dentists both from San Luis Rio Colorado and the United States. Another aspect of care given by volunteer practitioners is pre-natal and post natal care providing education, vitamins, monitoring, and support groups for single mothers. General health, vision and other health screenings are also provided.
Eli Mission House and their volunteers built a beautiful building on the Church Mexico property at Calle 17 and the Canal. Dr. Jim Green generously donated two complete dental suites to Hearts Empowering the Poor to provide the furniture and equipment necessary for the Dental Suite in the Clinic.
Since the Clinic's opening in 2017, we have hosted Medical Mission Teams which have been a great blessing for the people who have no other access to medical care. If you are in the Medical Field and desire to volunteer, please email us at heporg@comcast.net. Thank you.
