SAN JUDAS ORPHANAGE
In January of 2016 we were introduced to the children and staff at San Judas, an orphanage run by the DIF, the City of San Luis' Social Service Department. The children at San Judas range from 11 years to 18 years old. These children are found surviving on the streets or living in unsafe conditions. San Judas provides a safe refuge for them until they can be reunited with family in a safe living environment.
It is always a privilege to minister to these children. In order to visit, we have to get security clearance. Over the years, through the generosity of Life Center Rainier, One Heart 2 Homes and Calvary Open Bible Church, and our many donors, we brought the children new shoes, school supplies, Shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts and hygiene supplies, painted the dorm rooms and gave each child a hand made quilt for their bed, and spent time fellowshipping with the children. Below are photos. For the protection of the children, we are asked to not show their faces.
